Had a great for day at the V & A. We came at the right time too. Finally saw some Edith Head costumes in the flesh in Hollywood costume exhibition. Tippi Headren's outfit from the Birds and another from Vertigo. Couldn't take photos which stank because Joan Crawford's dress from the Bride Wore Red had to be seen to be believed.
Some of these photos you may notice are typical of me.....odd. I'll leave it to you to notice why. Some are just nice things. Spent 5 hours looking at the exhibits and still didn't' see everything
Great shots! Especially liked the second to last wood carving; the *ahem* teapot (wtf??), and the weird dude holding the headless baby - it looks like he just nom-nommed it off...bizarre!
